The design of the DJI Matrice 300 RTK is based on modern aircraft systems. This drone is extremely easy to transport, store, and assemble because of its mechanical design with quick-release landing gear and folding arms.
A magnesium-aluminum alloy construction results in a lightweight unit with an overall dimension of 810 mm L, 670 mm W, and 430 mm H when the propellers are fully extended. In addition, it weighs 6.3 kg when the battery is included, and 3.6 kg when it isn’t.

DJI Matrice 300 RTK has a three-axis stabilized camera sensor and two antennas. A microSD card slot, two USB-C ports, and a battery compartment are also included.
Additional LED lights have been added on top and bottom to aid in obstacle avoidance in low-light conditions. The Matrice 300RTK also has anti-collision beacons on the top and bottom, but these LEDs are separate.
OcuSync Enterprise is a video transmission system for DJI Matrice 300 RTK that can transmit HD video at distances of up to 9.3 miles from the aircraft’s camera (15 km).
When the OcuSync system is used, this drone first scans for any local interference and then makes a decision between three transmission channels: 20MHz mode, 10MHz mode, and the lowest 1.4MHz mode.
Furthermore, DJI’s Matrice 300 RTK can use either 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz Ocusync 2.0, which gives it more options when transmission is crowded.
The maximum flight time is 55 minutes, and the maximum descent speed is 15 mph. It is now possible to fly at a maximum speed of 51 meters per hour thanks to a change in the motors. With a maximum altitude of 22,965 ft, this drone can take off and land in even the most windy conditions, making it ideal for aerial photography and videography.
For future automated inspections, the DJI Matrice 300 RTK has a live recording feature that allows it to record mission actions such as aircraft movement and gimbal orientation, as well as photo shooting and zoom level.
This drone’s AI Spot-Check feature allows it to perform routine inspections and record results that are the same each and every time. For consistent framing, it uses built-in AI that recognizes the subject of interest.
For one or more payloads, the DJI Matrice 300 RTK can also set up to 65,535 waypoints and perform multiple actions. It’s also designed to be flexible and efficient in its use.
With the Pinpoint feature, you can quickly mark an object in camera or map view and advanced sensor fusion algorithms will immediately calculate its coordinates, which are projected to all camera views as an AR icon. A second remote controller or online platforms like DJI FlightHub are automatically informed of the subject’s location.
There is also a Smart Track function in the DJI Matrice 300 RTK, which makes it easy to track fast-moving objects like people and vehicles. Stable tracking and viewing are also possible with the auto-zoom feature.
DJI Go App
Due to the DJI Matrice 300 RTK’s support for the DJI GO app, you have access to a wealth of information about your flight right from the DJI GO app. You can also use the app to control the camera. Access to shutter speed, ISO and photo or video capture is provided by this app. Both iOS and Android devices can use this app.
DJI Smart Controller
A 5.5-inch 1080p ultra-bright display ensures crystal-clear visibility even in bright sunlight. Additionally, pilots can see the aircraft’s current heading, trajectory, PinPoint information, and home point projection in a more efficient manner, as well.
Recordings of the drone’s activities are saved to a microSD card slot. Dual Operator Mode is supported by this smart remote, allowing two people to operate the drone simultaneously.
A gimbal wheel that can tilt the camera to the right, left, up, or down and six buttons make it easy to control. A WB37 battery port and an internal battery give the controller a 4.5-hour operating time.
DJI Smart Controller
The new TB60 batteries are in the Matrix 300RTK. The Matrice 300RTK can fly for up to 55 minutes on these batteries. Obstacle avoidance sensors are located on the drone’s front, bottom, and apex. In addition to being able to see in low light, these sensors are able to detect smaller objects.
Using an ADS-B receiver, DJI has developed AirSense, a system that provides drone pilots with a heads-up display of approaching aircraft that could pose a danger to their aircraft.
DJI Matrice 300 RTK Price and Availability
The DJI Matrice 300 RTK drone is priced at around $13,200 for a brand new unit. It can be purchased on a variety of online platforms.
