Google Launches Back up and Sync desktop app

A few weeks later than promised, Google has launched its “Back up and Sync from Google” tool. As before, this is a simpler option for safeguarding your file/data in the cloud. Google Stated that the new tool offers a simpler user interaction, where you’ll first sign into your Google account, then select the folders you want Google to continually back up to Google Drive. Because it’s replacing current users’ existing Google Drive installations, the tool will respect any current settings you’ve already specified on Mac and PC. You don’t have to wonder whether or not your pictures will survive a system crash as well as your must-have documents. The app is free, although you’ll need a lot of Google Drive space if you’re determined to upload more than a modest amount of content.
